Ian Chester - Process Engineering Consultant

Introduction

I am an independent process engineering consultant specialising in the following areas:

• Energy saving through capital projects or operational improvements
• Process design, especially revamp of existing plant for increased capacity
• Conceptual development of new processes
• Process simulation

With over 30 years experience, I have been conducting consulting assignments for the last 20 years. Before setting up IC Technologies in 2009 I was a founder member of AspenTech’s Advanced Process Design group, and prior to that worked for Linnhoff March. During this time I have completed more than 80 projects, in most cases in a project manager or technical lead role. Before working as a consultant I had 10 years operating experience working for Monsanto and BASF.
